Our firm supplies asset analysis services to assist in the evaluation and defense of claims made against a client.  It is an important tool in the litigation tool box.  Often this service proves most useful when a client is facing a claim with little or no third party sources of funds to pay the claim, such as insurance.  This analysis can be used in conjunction with alternative dispute resolution to give litigants a realistic picture of the collectability of a claim being litigated.  A pre-litigation analysis may deter the filing of a lawsuit or can show that extensive litigation is too costly for the likely outcome.  Our goal is to determine the assets involved, their value, and the risk to the assets arising from any actual or potential claim.  The analysis can serve as the basis for asset protection strategies.
